Shopify themes, liquid, logos, and UX
Hello,
I am aware that the size of a banner image is recommended to be 2048x2048, but it does not matter how much I change the size of my image. It still looks slightly pixelated. Even PNGs seem to have this problem. Is there anyway to adjust the quality of my banner images and stop them from being compressed, even from within the codes?
Thank you.
@Wayne18 - can you please s\hare t\he page link w\here you are facing this issue?
https://www.unidshop.com/pages/test-reports
It's in all of our test reports pages. Here is an example:
@Wayne18 - you mentioned t\hat your images are 2048x2048 , but check this link it is been resized, I think in the code
I didn't say my images are 2048x2048. I said I know they're recommended to be 2048x2048, but I think they're still resized, because my images were originally 1900x1100 but they're now 1087x629 on the site instead. Is there a way to prevent image compression?
@Wayne18 - image size will change as per t\he screen, on my it is just 1349px width, if we edit code to remove compression then image might look way too big on smaller screens
@suyash1
But can the images be less pixelated? Like I said I tried to post them as PNGs but the problem still persists. I need them to look clear.
@Wayne18 - not sure sorry, even if we make full width, it still looks pixelated
