Is there a way to set a default display order for variants?

I am uploading my products in bulk using a third-party inventory management tool. This adds variants to Shopify in a random order, Shopify then uses this as the display order. Is there a way in Shopify to set the default display order for all variants (all of which are sizes) for my entire catalogue?
