I’ve just had an email from “shopifyregulatoryaffairs.dir@gmail.com” email address saying my shop has been blacklisted is this genuine? 

To the owner of this business, we are reaching out to inform you of a recent review conducted on Shopify stores, during which we identified specific features and technologies on your store that are not compliant with Shopify’s guidelines which are stemming from the animations, products listing and customisation done on your store. As a result, your store has been temporarily blacklisted on our platform.

To resolve this matter, you are required to reach out to the Shopify Help Team for a consultation through a certified patent researcher that will assist you in integrating a U.S. Patent Office Search Tool via *link* to properly identify and remove these features on your store.

  It's a scam, don't reply to them.  
If Shopify have to contact they use an official Shopify domain like @shopify.com, @email.shopify.com, or @em.shopify.com
