Items showing in Sale section when not on sale

Hi there,

We have a problem with our sale items showing up in our sale section when they aren't actually on sale. This has been an ongoing issue that we've had, and previously we had to republish the items to get rid of them from the sale section.

Does anyone have a solution to this? Thank you in advance.

Hi Indigoandjade,

Can you please provide more details?

What is your "sale section"? Is it a specific collection of products? If so, all you need to do is remove the products that don't belong there.

I would recommend using an automated collection for this, instead of a manual collection. You can create a collection that only includes products with a compare at price. That way, when a product goes off sale, it will automatically leave the collection.

Best,

Hi,  @indigoandjade

You can check this product to see if it is in the sales collection or if it has the sale tag.

Sorry I should have mentioned in my original post - the collection is automated, when the compare-at-price of the item is set to greater than 0. And this is not the case for the item which was highlighted in the sale collection. It does not have a sale tag.

Hi Tobe,

Thanks for that - I should have mentioned in my original post - the collection is automated, when the compare-at-price of the item is set to greater than 0. And I thought that this was not the case for the item which was highlighted in the sale collection, BUT

Upon checking, it is actually greater than 0, it was set to the same price as the regular price by accident. I overlooked that before posting! Thank you!
