large video with text issue

Hey folks,

     -created a 720p video (18mb) and uploaded to files section.
     -added a 'large video with text' to one of my pages, and linked the video to it

PROBLEM - the video is scaled up in preview (about 200-300%) so much is cropped out. I've been banging my head to resolve this with css attempts on page and looking at all the templates. reaching out for help.
