Line break when editing text in Theme Content section?

Does anyone know if there's some hidden magical way to add a line break (or any text coding) when editing text in the Theme Content section? I've tried adding a <br> but that just shows up on my site. I was able to edit the "Cart" section in the Theme Content with HTML, but only in certain parts. I can't find anything when searching here or online. I'm kind of assuming it's something that can't be changed...unless it's coded somewhere else. 

For reference, I'm here in the "Shipping Method Notice". It would be REALLY helpful if I could add a line break. And honestly, if bolding text was an option, that would be great as well!
