Magnifying glass on a hero image / Support page

Hi everyone,

I'm looking to create a hero image that will found on a support page. It will be a map of the world with highlighted countries according to a particular product. As the map is quite detailed, I'm looking to create a magnifying glass to hover over the hero image to get a detailed view of the coloured-in countries.

Similar to this but no limited to the product page. I have tried a few but the seem to only work on the product page whereas I need this to be available on a support page, or any page really.
