Shopify themes, liquid, logos, and UX
Hi,
I'm just getting started with creating my website and it's becoming obvious that I'll need to make some small edits to the theme to get it to look how I want.
I'm going to be using Sections in the Motion Theme called "Large Image With Text Box" and I'm planning on deleting the content in the text box and editing the images in PhotoShop to get a custom look and having a sort of fake button in the image and just making the whole of the image clickable, so it still acts as a sort of button.
I can't seem to figure out how to make the images clickable though.
I've looked at videos on how to edit the theme code, but I can't seem to find what "Large Image With Text Box" is called as a section, so I can add an image URL.
I'm also looking at doing the same thing, but with the "Large Video With Text Box" and making it clickable too.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Pete

Hi,
Thanks for the reply. I'm still in the Shopify free trial period, so it's not letting me share it without having a password.

It can be done by doing some code customization. please send me a personal message and we can discuss what you'd like
Hi,
Thanks! I've actually decided to not go ahead with it though and just use the theme's custom layout.
Cheers anyway though!
