metafield product filtering not narrowing

Hello everybody. I've had such good help from you all, thank you.

My focus now is filtering. I created single line metafield filters. However when actually filtering using more than one box, the items displayed are not narrowed. My included example is: I want to pick "mushroom series" and "medium." All medium size items display and all mushrooms series items display. Instead I just want the Medium Mushroom Series items only. Thank you everyone

Shopify filter did not have the option to narrow down products. You should try some filter app for this feature https://apps.shopify.com/ultimate-search-and-filter-1 (I am currently using this one)
