Hi,

I have some issues with my Shopify Theme Sleek . In my product page/product information page theres an option to put  details information like " description, how to use, etc" but when I put the text info on every one of these, it will repeat the same info to all my other products, and I need every product to have their own different info .

It sounds like your product pages are all using the same template, which is why the same information is showing for every product.

To fix this, you’ll need to create different product templates for each product (or group of products with different details), and then assign the appropriate template to each product.

This way, you can customize the content—like description, how to use, etc.—for each product individually.

Shopify works on a template basis, so you have a single template in your case a product template which you customized and all the products will now take the same look and if you add content directly the same content will display for every product. 

But not to worry Shopify have already come up with a solution to this long enough with metafields. This will let you add dynamic content to your products. It's pretty much manual setup, no code required. 

Refer to yt for a tutorial and you will find loads of it. Try searching for "adding dynamic content to product page with metafields".

What you need is to set up metafields - these allow you to create unique custom fields for each product.

Here's how to fix it:

1. Create Product Metafields: From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Custom data. In the Metafields section, click Product metafields. Shopify Help Center
2. Add Definitions for Each Type of Information:
   • Click "Add definition"
   • Name your definition (like "How to Use" or "Details") and select or enter it in the list
   • The system will automatically create a namespace and key for you (e.g., custom.how_to_use)
   • Select the content type - "Rich text" works well for descriptions Shopify Help Center
   • Repeat this process for each type of product information you need
3. Add Unique Content to Each Product:
   • Go to any product in your Products section
   • Scroll down to the Metafields section
   • You'll see your newly created fields where you can add unique content for each product
4. Display on Your Product Page: You can connect metafields to your theme by adding sections or blocks that support dynamic sources. For example, the Product info section can support product metafields. Shopify Help Center
5. Connect the Metafields to Your Theme: From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes. Find your Sleek theme and click Customize. Use the drop-down menu at the top to select Products > Default product. In the Product information section, click Add block > Collapsible row. Enter a heading (like "How to Use"). Next to row content, click the Connect dynamic source icon and select your metafield. Click Save to publish. Shopify Help Center

The Sleek theme is fully compatible with metafields as it's an Online Store 2.0 theme. This solution will allow you to have different information for each product while maintaining a consistent layout.
