Missing Accent color options from Sense theme settings.

I'm trying to adjust the color theme settings for my website and am using the Sense theme. When I go to any of the places that allow for the color adjustments, including the menu on the left, I don't see any accent color options. I am only getting about six different options (gradient background, background, button, etc) to change... it's very limited. Every tutorial I'm seeing shows that there are accent colors that can be modified. Is there a way to pull those up somehow?
