Nav bar closing my dropdown after nested dropdown hover effect

Hello, I have a hover effect on my website and when you hover over a nested category it opens it but when you hover off of it it closes the entire dropdown menu. How can I get it to stay open when the nested category goes back up?

When you hover over for example on the main nav bar for Swimsuits > bikinis > when you move down to select a different subcategory the dropdown goes away.
