Navigation and sub menus in Narrative Theme

I am trying to set up sub menus from my Main menu in the Narrative theme.

1. How do I get the sub menus to display when I click a main menu collection? That is, I have a main menu of Lets Go Shopping with a collection called Professional Products - under Professional Products I have a number of sub menus like Candying Pastes. I want the shopper to be to select from the sub menus list once they click on Professional Products.

2. How do I 'link' the product to the sub menu name?
