Navigation links with pill shape.

I would like to use the same technique as this website Veepee.fr . The header menue is sticky and transparent when at the top of the page. 

  

 

when transparent the buttons are slightly seethrough, and highlighted solid white when in the category. 

I would like to do the same thing on my website.
Im using the latest version of broadcast theme

 

 

  

  here are the only options i have as far as changing the color of the menus

i need the buttons to be just like the examples (pill shaped and responsive on hover)
