Shopify themes, liquid, logos, and UX
We are currently using Palo Alto Theme. We have one of the products which has 5 colors. We have added color swatches for that one product with 5 color swatches.
However, we see that when we click on each of the color, It only opens the image of that color on that page itself. However we would like that color to be a link, which opens in a new tab and takes the customer to that color product which has a diferrent listing.
Currently we have this: https://jqy7ulhcrdrrhz8q-24838930480.shopifypreview.com/products_preview?preview_key=98a93bfc52cc591...
We want this: https://nashermiles.com/collections/luggage-sets/products/nasher-miles-mexico-hard-sided-polycarbona...
Help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Hello @Akhil3,
I've noticed that you're using the Palo Alto Theme's Dynamo version, but it seems that it doesn't fully meet your requirements.
After reviewing the reference website, nashermiles.com, we understand that you're interested in replicating the color variant functionality seen in the Co-ord set. We can certainly assist you with this by implementing a custom solution. This would involve creating and configuring different products, allowing users to select colors via swatches which will then direct them to the corresponding product page.
If you're interested in proceeding with this customization, please let us know, and we'll be happy to provide further assistance.
Best regards,
Priyal T.

Hello @Akhil3
In the demo site the color swatches are different products. Thus different products are linked with each other. This can be done via Tags or metafields.
Thus when a color is clicked it takes user to the desired product.
This is a custom setup, thus if you don't have coding knowledge I would recommend you to seek help of a developer. Let me know if you need.
Thanks
