I have seen this issue before in here, but the discussion was outdated, so I try here.
Does anyone know an easy way of making a dropdown that scrolls.
I have a lot of categories on my site and the standard dropdown goes straight down out of sight to the bottom of the page. This means, that the site scroll but the dropdown does not...
If this can't be done by a beginner (like me), do you know a designer who can do this quickly for me?

Thank you for the fast response! Oh that's so odd, one of our team members sent me this photo, she can find it eventually when she hover over it, but it's not visible for her right off the bat.
This is default browser behavior (Safari), you can change it in the settings, just go to System Preferences > General > Show Scroll Bars: Set this to "Always".
This is not related to the code or your website at all 🙂
I have the same problem. Screens that are too small to accommodate the long dropdown just cuts it off and doesn't scroll. The sub-menus will scroll, but not the main dropdown.
I tried various versions of the code in this thread, but hasn't worked. Can anyone please provide me with code to scroll my dropdown menu 'Browse Categories' at: https://www.babiesafrica.com/
Hi @Denis_A ,
I'm sorry to bother you here more than a year later but I've tried implementing similar code to the one you provided but I can't seem to make it work on my end.
Would you please be able to look into this and tell me what I'm missing? I'd like to have scrolling on "Shop by Categories" (level 1, no need for scrolling on level 2 / depth 2 items).
My store is: https://orka.ca/
Thank you so much Denis!
