Shopify themes, liquid, logos, and UX
Hi, after updating to the latest Reformation theme, the new version of the website is very empty, everything is gone, only the products and blog is still visible. Is there a faster way to copy my content from the old version to the new one?
thanks!
Hi @Emile the stores content should be in the admin data not the theme itself.
If the frontend is blank of most content from the admin/CMS something is wrong with the theme, and prior customizations, or your using the wrong terms etc etc etc
If you mean SETTINGS are different when migrating version, you can try to copy all the relevant .JSON templates and the settings_data.json from the config folder form the old theme to the new theme; keeping mind it's not always a 1 to 1 process between theme versions.

Beyond that you'd need to be much much more specific and extremely narrow in questions scope as migration training is way past the scope forum contributions courtesy.
