Newsletter page until I launch

I’ve made a nice simple site with minimal template. I’d like to add a newsletter page until I launch and the main site goes live. 

I’ve hidden all the pages and created a newsletter page in password page. When I go to the address my homepage can be seen. How do I hide my homepage and show password page instead?

Hi @AHough, 

Have you attempted accessing the site using incognito mode?

It's possible that you've previously entered the password, hence your store isn't prompting you to input it again.

Hi Paul, Thank you for your reply. I checked and I can thankfully only see the password page 🥳 The problem I have now is that there is a ghost image in the background of the password page and I don't know how to edit it?

Oh, okay. Gotcha! Would it be possible for you to share the contents of your password.liquid file?

It is in Themes > ... > Edit Code > Layout folder > password.liquid

Thank you. I now have the password page set. Just need to edit the background image.
