Page not full width and height for some product pages / extra grid border

Hi all,

Not sure how to correctly describe the issue, which is why I could not find any related posts.
This is Shopify Dawn V8.

After adding some new products, there is a blank frame/padding around the whole page.

For some products there are no issues, but for some it looks like this:

1ls.PNG

Not sure if any of the liquids should be checked as this issue is present only for about the half of all products, while other product pages are ok. Also not related to one whole collection. Issue is present on mobile for affected products as well.

When checking on inspect element it shows relation to recently installed price quote app, but this issue was present a while ago before I ever added this app:

Any ideas, solutions?

Many thanks in advance

Hi @aijaxiite ,

You can try this code by following these steps:

Step 1: Go to Online Store->Theme->Edit code.

Step 2: Search file base.css

Step 3: Paste the below code at the bottom of the file -> Save

body{
padding:0 !important
}

Hope my solution works perfectly for you!

Best regards,

Hi, I know this is an old thread but I’m having the exact same issue right now and can’t find any solution, do you mind to share how did you figure it out ?

the last thing i did was to change the content of a badge on the “default theme content” but doesn’t seem to works now that i revert it

 thank you in advance

Hi 🙂 Since then I have long switched to WP though, but after reading the thread, I am sure that this issue was caused by a page translating app. Was trying to set up several languages and with an Shopify app translate all the existing content in those languages. Once uninstalled the app, the issue was gone.

So revise the apps You have added last and use the elimination method to find the guilty one.

Cheers, aijaxiite
