Password page not showing at all - home page shows as normal

Hi there- I've added a password and protected my website and its a published version- but for some reason the password protection doesn't come up on my website at all- its just my home page.

I have added a password as normal and my website is published but nothing comes up. Please someone help!

Once you log in to a store using a password, you will not need to enter it again the next time you access it. If you are still experiencing the problem you mentioned, you can try using security apps to protect your website.

Could be cookies or since you are logged in already?

Can you share the link to your store so I can check if it happens to me as well? Or else you can try incognito
