Please could anybody advise me how to change the 'before' crossed out price to colour red?

I would like to change my 'before' crossed out price to colour red on all my products. 

Please could anybody assist with a way of doing so?

1. Go to Online Store->Theme->Edit code
2. Asset->/theme.min.css->paste below code at the bottom of the file.

.price--sale>span:not(first-child) {
    color: red;
}

@KetanKumar Sorry to be a pain but you have been so helpful and am wondering if you have the answer to fix this issue...

Our categories along the top of the website ie fresh in, womens, mens etc etc.. the 'brands' one all of a sudden has a drop down arrow and when you hover over it, a black box appears. As we have no sub categories under brands, we would like no drop down arrow or drop down box. Can you advise how I can remove this?

sorry for that issue i have check brands menu doesn't add sub item can you please check admin and mega menu at theme setting other all work so not a code issue can you recreate same other menus
