Shopify themes, liquid, logos, and UX
Hello!
I want to add individual articles for each product category on my web store. For example, I have a category for kitchen knives where I'd like to include articles on topics like how to sharpen your knife. Similarly, for my food boxes category, I'd like to have articles about food storage. The issue I'm facing is that the articles are showing up on all pages, not just within the specific categories they're meant for. Has anyone encountered this problem or knows how to solve it? I'd really appreciate any help!
(For subcategories, I was able to fix a similar issue by using metafields, but that solution doesn’t seem to work here.)
Hi @waltherolsson try alternate templates to have dissimilar content among collections template settings
Alternate templates may not be the solution, if there are lots of collections, or generated collections, that could take too long to manually setup individually or end up making a theme exceed limits of the theme system. etc
If code-savvy/theme-dev-savvy there's also custom-liquid/custom-html section or blocks in some themes in which to put your own custom render logic or to reference a snippet with custom parameters.
Beyond that advanced theme customizations may be needed instead.
If you need this customization then contact me for services, or if you have access private message by clicking here (sloooower).

Good Luck.
