Prestige Theme / Collection Page Header Is Collection Image

Hello,

We are using the Prestige 10.6 theme. What we want to accomplish is to be able to define an image for every collection....and then have that image be in the header of whatever collection page the user is accessing.

Right now by default, Prestige allows us to define the header image within the default collection template. The problem with that is that the same header image shows on all collection pages. We do realize a solution would be to create many different collection templates and link them to each collection but that seems to be unnecessary if the only element that will differ on collection pages is that header image.

So anyone have any coding that can edit the default collection template in such a way where the top header image used is the collection image ?

Thanks

You can use HSopify metafields to upload dynamic content in Shopify.

Hmm.

You can assign collection image and by default the "Collection banner" section on Collection template will pull it automatically:

If you want to use a different section, then you still can use Collection image there via Dynamic source:

Finally, if you do not want to use collection image here  for some reason, then you can create an image type metafield on collections and use this metafield as dynamic source, as already suggested...
