Product Badges on Impulse theme

The Impulse theme comes with the ability to add badges to product images - but I can't find any information on how to do this without adding custom liquid code. The "Sold Out" badge appears automatically for me, but I'd like to know how to apply other badges on specific product images.

the Impulse theme only show 2 badges on Image ( Sold out and Sale). And "Sale" badge only show when product is available . If you want to show more tags you must to update liquid code.

Thanks for your help. From what you've said it looks like everything is automated and I've just not triggered things yet. However, the theme developers site (see below) shows more than just Sold Out and Sale - it also shows "Best Selling". 

• Do you suppose Badge settings are missing from the customiser (I can't find them) and we need to add our own css to manipulate badge shapes and colours?
• How do you suppose we know / edit what triggers are used for the "Best Selling" badge?
