Product Customization - Empire theme

Hi all, I have just purchased a new theme, and I need to create a customized product option, I had this set on my last theme (debut) tried to copy it over, and it did not work.  I have tried to follow some online tutorials to no avail.  I am hoping I can customize products within the new theme I just purchased.... (Empire)

I can get the box and title on the page but I cannot get it to be placed where I need it (under Quantity, above add to cart)

Hoping someone can help direct me to creating this correctly.

Hi I dont think I have explained very well apologies, I have just posted a new message with image of current theme INCLUDING the text box i need for a custom product page. 

The theme I need help with is not live as I cannot operate without custom product page option.  

I have tried to write the code myself but the box ended up in all the wrong places not like the sample image.

Currently, it looks good with the above "add to cart".  Here also my recommendation is adding it just above the Add to Cart button and quantity field. Because the easiest way to find the code for the Add to Cart button is to hit Command F (on a Mac) or Cntrl F (on a PC)--this will bring up the "Find" window. Type in "add" or "add to cart" and this will help you find every instance of that word in the code.  if you can use a text box field label, it will better.

Hi, I am not "live" with the new theme, I am still using old theme as I cannot afford to lose sales by customers unable to complete the custom fields as all my products are custom, so I have followed this tutorial but i cannot get the box in the right place, which means I cannot go live with my new theme which better suits my products

I need this box ENGRAVING added to store but with new text in or about this area on my new theme

 

I need a product.customizable.template or whatever it is to be called to allow me to choose when I load a new product to store either standard product or a custom product which can include text box

I came across this post, I realise it was a little while ago and I also needed a solution to this. 

I have documented a method how to create a personalisation box on the Empire theme, and how to create some settings to control this on product by product basis. Anyway, here it is.
