Product Page Setup

I would like to edit my store product page template, what is the best way to do this? 

I would like each product to have the same top section. So image on the left, product title, price and buy buttons and a small box that says what is included with the product. 

Under that, full page width I would like to build custom content for each product. I imagine for this I would code the sections how I want them, and then import the relevant ones with the admin web builder. 

Any recommendations on the best way to set this up and the files I should be looking to edit would be fantastic!

You will need to create separate product templates for each product if your theme is 2.0 OS version. Please check article below for more details

Thanks, not sure this has really cleared things up for me. 

So, if each product needs its own custom template. Would I be better off building custom liquid files for each element I want and then using the theme editor to build them together?

You only need to build custom liquid files if your theme is vintage. If your theme is 2.0 OS, then you can build it by creating templates and adding sections without compromising codes.

Ok, so I have done that and created a new template. 

In the template builder, there is a section called "Product Page". That is the part I'd like to customise myself with code. What files would I need to look for to do that?
