I'm using Flex theme 5.1.0.

 

😅HOW DO I CHANGE MY DEFAULT CURRENCY FROM CAD TO USD ON MOBILE DEVICES?

 

I'm in USA, but my product prices incorrectly default to CAD on mobile view, but they correctly default to USD on laptop view.  (front facing website) I'm so confused!!!!

 

  • USA is designated as my primary market in shopify settings.
  • currency selector is active in theme settings, but irrelevant to my question ( i think).
  • Prices default to USD on laptop view and CAD on mobile devices.
  •  On mobile device, price reverts back to USD from CAD only after product is added to cart.

 

Why do laptop  and mobile default to different currency settings?? 

How do I fix it?

Hello @Annie_Aukeman

What you said is not possible. I think Desktop or mobile connects with a VPN.

The default currency is not based on the Primary market.

Go to  - Settings > General > Store Defaults

Also Please share the Store URL so we can check the issue in brief.

Thanks for your reply. 

my shopify settings > general > store defaults  =  USD.

Several customers reported an issue with CAD.  I've checked multiple mobile devices and asked others to check their mobile devices.  All show product prices in CAD.  I don't get it!

I need help with this as well. I have the settings set to USD. This seems to be a theme glitch because when I published the old theme it went back  to USD. I just spent $500 on this theme and I hope this issue gets resolved.

We  all have the right setting on the currency. There is still  a problem
