Product Weight

I am trying to add a weight to all my products and variants (to calculate shipping costs, not to display the weight on the online store product pages) and as the weight doesn't come up on the products dashboard I'm just going to Bulk Edit, add the Weight and Physical product columns and then add/edit the weights from there. But not only the weight doesn't come up on the products dashboard but also if I go to Bulk Edit after a while the columns are not there anymore, I just have to add them again and then the weights are all there in the Bulk edit for a bit (before disappearing again) but still not on the Products dashboard. It'd be great if someone could help. Thanks

Yeah but why the weight doesn't come up by default in the single product dashboard? It should just come up by default or at least when I add it to the columns

I also just tried with another browser but the weight doesn't come up on the product dashboard either. So I have 2 problems, the fact that I can't add/edit the weight on the product dashboard and the weight column disappear in the Bulk Edit. That both in Firefox and Google Chrome. Thanks

Hello @schikinoils,

Some times it can take a while for the changes show through to different parts of Shopify. If I look at https://www.schikin.co.uk/products.json (which is a machine-readable version of your product data) I do see weight set for the different products now. For example, the LAVENDER FACE OIL + EYE OIL (Normal Skin) pipette is 95 grams.

Is that still not showing up in the Shopify admin or is it appearing now?

Thanks for your reply. I can now see the weight in the product dashboard but for some reason the column keeps disappearing in the Bulk Edit after an hour or so. I have tried a different browser too. But at least it's there somewhere. Thank you
