You can try the following steps I have provided to help you solve the problem you are facing:

Step 1: Online Store -> Themes -> Edit Code

Step 2: Choose file theme.liquid

Step 3: Add code above the tag </head>

background-image: url(https://community.shopify.com/c/image/serverpage/image-id/448396i470F16F4A13EB044/image-size/medium?v=v2&px=400);
    background-repeat: no-repeat;
    background-size: cover;
}

You can follow these steps: 

- Go to Online store -> Themes -> Edit code

- Find file theme.liquid

- Paste this code above tag </head> -> Click Save
