Hi @19469,

When you sign up for an account with Shopify you are given a .myshopify.com URL by default. If you would like to change that, you will need to buy a domain. If you prefer, you can connect a third-party domain that you already own to your store instead.

To ensure that you are uploading images in the right format, size, and definition, I'd recommend checking out our guide on Uploading ImagesYou mentioned that all the images are the same size on both your home page and your catalog, but that they look "different" in your catalog - could you explain that a little more for me, please? How do they look different?

We would recommend that you use higher definition, larger spec photos for the homepage. In fact, here are some of the best practices for using images on your store.

If you could tell me more about your store and what theme you're using, I would be able to provide you with more bespoke feedback. I look forward to hearing from you!

It's great that you bought a domain to make your store URL more unique and relevant to your brand- did you buy it from Shopify?

If you did buy it through Shopify, remember that you also need to verify your email address to complete registration:

25-29-19345-20267

And following that, there are some next steps after buying a domain that you will want to follow to ensure it is set up correctly.

Once you've done this your domain should work and people will be able to use it to find your store - although, you do need to publish your store too of course by removing the password and it's always good to make sure you've done all the necessary preparation for launching your store beforehand.

However, if you want to boost your rankings in Google search, then you'll also want to embrace good SEO practices - so first off I would highly recommend our SEO Checklist.  Going through these when you feel you are ready to launch can be invaluable, allowing you to double-check that you haven’t missed any key features, just before you go live.

It's also a good idea to not just simply check off actions on a list but to also really get to understand SEO. This is why I strongly recommend you check out our free courses on Shopify Academy. You'll cover subjects like why it's important to submit your sitemap to Google, and why you need to be strategic with using the right keywords on your store (here’s how you can look up keywords).

Now, you also mentioned you added Skrill to your store as a payment method. That's great! Skrill is a third-party payment gateway so our support on this would be limited, however, I did find a great Community forum post about Skrill that you should find useful.

I hope this all helps!
