quick add plus not working properly

i've changed my quick add button to a plus and it had been working fine until today, suddenly it stopped working properly. what happens is:

i click on it and i can see it opens the quick add model or pop up, however it redirects me to the product page less than a second after, so the button is working as it should i believe, instead of the fact that it redirects to the product page when it shouldn't... please help
