"Thanks for subscribing" line shifting the original design out of view?

Client has found an error on the mailing list, I can't figure out how to fix it. I just want the "thanks for subscribing" line to appear underneath the form. But the hidden message shifts the whole design up?! When I tweak on Google inspect it kinda does it, but as soon as I transfer to VSC and save it reverts back to being cropped

I realised I had an overflow: hidden on .mailing-list class which fixes what I want but then it affects the header.

I'm SO close now, got the header to work but now there's a overflow-y on the newsletter class that I don't need. I want to clip the content after the section. As per the image.

Fixed it now. With overflow-y hidden on the .mailing-list class!
