Shopify themes, liquid, logos, and UX
I have a store where we have all the products listed on the main page, but they're marked as sold out because the client is not selling the product themselves, they're being sold via a big box retailer.
The client would like for you to be sent to the PDP on the retailer's page instead of it redirecting you to the PDP on Shopify.
How could I go about doing this? I'm using the DAWN theme.
Store is www.screenbreakz.com - As you can see, the products are 'sold out' but when you click them they take you to the shopify PDP. I'd like for it to send you to the retailers page instead.
Hello @Ronin ,
Follow idea if you know how to code:
1) Create metafield for products name is Destination url of sold out products.
2) Edit code and find sold out condition
Now here call the meatfield which you created in step first ad wrap the existing sold out button with anchor tag.
e.g.
<a href="{{ metafield }}>Existing sold out button </a>
If problem solved don't forget to Like it and Mark it as Solution!
And if you need help with customization/code part you can contact me for services
