Reducing the Number of CSS Files and Javascript Files

Hi, 

May I have your help please...

I have done a site audit to my site and got a fairly good report on my home page with some drawback issues mainly regarding the number of CSS files used and the number of Javascript used (40 CSS files and 12 Javascript files). What can I do to solve this and how? 

Theme is "Studio"
