Refresh | Adding a different banner size for mobile / desktop

Heya all,

I created a banner with 1500x400 size and it looks perfect on desktop. Only when I use the mobile site the banner gets all cropped and is way too wide for such a small screen. Ideally the image size of the mobile version should be like 500x600 so it fits better in the screen. Any idea how to make 2 different versions?

I tried to follow solutions for other themes but they all didn't seem to work properly..
