Refresh Theme Mini Cart doesn't update after click on Add to Cart Button

Hey, 
After the customer clicks on "Add to Cart" the mini cart on the right upper corner doesnt reload/updates automatically. Only after refreshing the whole (product) page or click on the mini cart.

I checked the link and I add to cart but the cart box was loaded immediately

Yes, I changed it (kinda workaround) so that the customer redirects to the cart page but is there a way, that he can continue shopping and to update the mini cart?
