Shopify themes, liquid, logos, and UX
I placed a test order yesterday, twice, and was surprised to see a popup ad from our site attached here "Luke You're missing out on automatic coupon savings!... etc... Powered by SpurIT". I have no idea where this came from and definitely do not want it as part of our customers' experience. Any ideas on where it came from? How to remove? I do not have a Capitol One extension on my browser, I am miffed and confused. Ok I can't attach a jpeg... I guess... link to image here:

Hello @Luke_Geniella
It sounds like the popup ad might be from a third-party Shopify app, especially if it’s branded with "Powered by SpurIT." SpurIT offers several Shopify apps, including ones for popups, upsells, and discounts. It’s possible that one of these apps was installed previously on your store and is triggering this popup on the thank you page after an order is placed.
Check Installed Apps: Go to your Shopify admin, navigate to Apps, and look for any apps by SpurIT or any apps related to discounts, popups, or upsells. If you find one, this is likely the source of the popup.
Disable or Remove the App: If you find the app responsible, you can disable its settings or uninstall it altogether if you don’t need it.
Clear Cache and Test Again: Sometimes, app changes need cache clearance to fully take effect. Clear your browser cache, and place another test order to verify that the popup is gone.
If you don’t find anything in your installed apps, it might also be worth checking your theme's "thank you" page or order confirmation settings.
