Remove Author and Date on Blog on Homepage and Individual Blog Pages on Brooklyn Theme

Hi, 

I am trying to remove the date and author name for blog posts on the home and actual blog pages. 

1) The instructions that Shopify provides here (https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/online-store/themes/os/customize/remove-author-name) for removing the author name do not work. I cannot find the sections that are being referred to in my code {{article.author}}, etc.

2) I've tried using these instructions for removing the date. But it only removes the date from the main blog page and each blog post - but not from the homepage.

Can someone please help??

Please go to Customize > Blog posts. https://i.imgur.com/4plN7aD.png

Just you uncheck it, it will remove author and date.

Go to Assets > theme.scss.liquid and paste this at the bottom of the file:

.featured-blog__meta {
    display: none !important;
}
