Shopify themes, liquid, logos, and UX
I've been searching all the forums and for the life of me can't figure out how to disable the video controls that show up on videos in my product media carousel, on the product page, when viewed on mobile (specifically iPhone). I've implemented multiple solutions posted on this forum in the past year and none are working. I'm using Dawn version 12.0.

Hi @bolderglow Yes I have the partner account, I can send you the request, but for that I will need your shopify store URL(your store name/URL.myshopify.com) so that I can send you the Collaborator access.
Also it will be great if we can move this conversation at whatsapp or email or private message in shopify whichever is suitable for you.

Hi @bolderglow it needs the custom code to achieve this as all the themes have placed it dynamically they're not hardcoded into the theme. So you need to add custom code in your theme to achieve this.
If you will unable to implement the same then I'm happy to do this for you, let me know. I can implement the code changes so that this will work well for you.

Hi Sahil, I definitely can't do this myself, I'm brand new to Shopify. I would appreciate your help with the custom code!
Also it's weird, I was able to get the videos on the product page to play on mobile without showing video controls, but it's the videos in the product carousel of media that I have this problem with. Is it the case that the product carousel media have the controls placed dynamically, whereas video elsewhere in the page is not?
Hi @bolderglow Yes you are correct the controls are placed dynamically that's why its showing the control.
Also for adding the custom code I will need the access of your store so that I can look into your code files and provide you the exact code that will work well for your store.
