Remove express check out /buttons from checkout

Hello,

and there is apparently a guide for how to remove it from themes in a reply that Bo posted :Our themes team have gone ahead and put together this guide on hiding the Express Checkout buttons such as PayPal Express here.

however when I click on the “here” button it tells me I do not have access to this community discussion board so I cannot have access to the solution to remove express checkout from my checkout page.

Any ideas?

Make sure you read this "This method will only work if customers are checking out from the cart page directly (having the cart drawer or cart modal enabled, or checking out via external links will not guarantee this method to work)."

If you want to link to checkout from any other place on your site, you can check how your cart page template links to checkout and mimic it on any page. Worked for me when doing it with minicart drawer.

Yes, you can remove the Express Checkout buttons from the checkout page using the PayRules: Hide Payment Methods app. Here's how you can do it:

1. Open the PayRules: Hide Payment Methods app.
2. Navigate to the "PayPal Express Checkout" section.
3. Enable the toggle to hide the PayPal Express Checkout button.

By enabling this option, the Express Checkout buttons will be removed from the checkout page.
