Remove padding around product container

Hello,

I've tried and tried to remove the padding around the product images and info but I just can't do it for some reason.

This is where I ended up:

and this is what I'm aiming for:

See how the image on the second screenshot starts from right up in the corner? That's what I'm trying to achieve.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Edit: website is "https://asherai.co" password is "shinem". Using Dawn theme version 12

Hi @asherai_co

Do you mean like this?

If its try this one.

  • From your Shopify admin dashboard, click on "Online Store" and then "Themes".
  • Find the theme that you want to edit and click on "Actions" and then "Edit code".
  • In the "Assets" folder, click on "base.css, style.css or theme.css" file, depending on which file your theme uses to store its CSS styles. At the bottom of the file, add the following CSS code:

section#MainProduct-template--20029001400662__main, section#MainProduct-template--20029001400662__main .page-width {
    padding: 0px;
}
.product__info-wrapper.grid__item {
    padding-left: 5px;
}

  • And Save.

I used this and tweaked with my website's settings - it almost worked, it's just this tiny bit on the left that won't go away.

I'm not sure if this code is optimized or correctly formatted or something, but this is what worked for me.

@media screen and (min-width: 750px) {
section#MainProduct-template--20029001400662__main, section#MainProduct-template--20029001400662__main .page-width {
padding: 0;
max-width: 1600rem;
}
media screen and (min-width: 750px) {
.product__info-wrapper.grid__item {
padding-left: 5px;
}
}
.product-info {
padding-top: 10px;
}
}
product__media-list.grid {
height: auto!important;
width: 100%important;
}

That is good then, The small margin is not visible on my side but in the mobile screen yes. So maybe its the same selector on the desktop that making problem also. Check this one.

Same Instruction.

@media screen and (max-width: 749px){
.grid--peek.slider .grid__item:first-of-type {
    margin-left: 0rem !important;
}
}
.grid--peek.slider .grid__item:first-of-type {
    margin-left: 0rem !important;
}

And Save.

Hi @asherai_co ,

You can try this code by following these steps:

Step 1: Go to Online Store->Theme->Edit code.

Step 2: Search file theme.liquid

Step 3: Paste the below code at the bottom of the file -> Save

<style>
#MainProduct-template--20029001400662__main{
padding:0 !important
}
</style>

Hope my solution works perfectly for you!
