Remove search icon Mavon Theme

I’ve followed all the steps to remove the search icon in the edit code section base.css

I’ve done it several times and when I save and go to the theme and refresh it is still there.

can anyone help?

Can you add this code to Custom CSS in Sales Channels > Online Store > Themes > Customize > Theme settings and check again?
