Remove some sorting options

Hi all

I'm currently using the expanse theme and would like to remove the sort by date (new to old and old to new) from the sorting options. I cannot work out how to do this at all. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hey @SevFilms 

Follow these Steps:

1) Go to Online Store
2) Edit Code
3) Find theme.liquid file

4) Add the following code in the bottom of the file above </body> tag

<style>
.collection-filter__inner select option[value="created-ascending"], .collection-filter__inner select option[value="created-descending"] {
    display: none !important;
}
</style>

RESULT:

Hi @SevFilms 

Try this one. 

1. From your Shopify admin dashboard, click on "Online Store" and then "Themes".
2. Find the theme that you want to edit and click on "Actions" and then "Edit code".
3. In the "Assets" folder, click on "base.css, style.css or theme.css" file, depending on which file your theme uses to store its CSS styles. At the bottom of the file, add the following CSS code:

.collection-filter__sort option[value="created-ascending"], 
.collection-filter__sort option[value="created-descending"] {
    display: none;
}

• And Save.
