Remove the express checkout from Dawn Theme

Hello Everyone,

Before talking about my problem, if I am posting is because non of all the solutions here work for me.

Like many of us here, I want to delete the express checkout, at least I want to disable it because actually I don't propose Paypal on my shop.

After many tests, I still have the express Checkout on the Information page during the checkout process.

I inspected the traffic to find  the class name and to add some code to hide but,

first the Class is not the same as I see on many topics here ( like "additional_checkout_buttons"), I don't know if it is normal or not but if there is any tips, PLEASE HELP ME.

I saw this tips but I am using the Dawn them, there is not the cart-template.liquid and template.liquid neither.

And it is the same for theme.scss.liquid.

Do you know the equivalent files for this theme please ?

Hi @AminsDada,

- With step one, the code has been added, you can refer to the file: main-cart-footer.liquid

- With step 2: You can add CSS code at file 'component-cart.css'

I checked and didn't find 'additional-checkout-buttons'.

Condition for it to work is that you still show 'additional-checkout-buttons' on cart page, just add CSS code to hide it.

It is not about the code or nothing

You have to disable shop pay on the payment setting, that's it
