Remove zoom when hovering over images on Athens Theme

Hi guys, i've seen several posts about removing the zoom when hovering over mages, however none of the solutions work on my theme (Athens). Our website is service related and therefore we don't want the zoom on images or the click to enlarge as it makes the site look bad. Any ideas on how to disable both of these functions?
