Request help! How to add a search bar as a section in Craft theme.

Hello Shopify Experts! 

Newbie here, using the craft theme. I had a quick question for the experts here. I actually wanted to have a search bar below the header on my homepage where people can search for products. My store is built for people who will search by part number rather than browsing so this will be the best way to do it. 

Is it possible to add a search bar as a section - it might make it super simple for me to do what I want to.

Can any of you please guide me on how I could go about doing this please! Truly appreciate your help!

You could, but why won't you have it on the header and make the header sticky? If you add it as a section, the search bar is gone once the user is in another page or scrolled away from it. The header is always there.
