Shopify themes, liquid, logos, and UX
I'm hoping someone can help me. I suspect a conversion rate issue for me is that I'm not stocking enough of the sizes my audience wants. How could I add a button around my purchase form that enables visitors to register their interest in a certain size? I would want it to have a dropdown box to select a size, then an option to add their email to be notified when that size is available. I want to make it quick and easy so I can capture as much data as possible. (so perhaps an option where they don't have to add their email but could just let me know what size they were after). My theme is 'drop'. URL: https://salourlingerie.com/products/rochelle-bodysuit
Hey Holly18,
Heddy from Gameball: Loyalty Program & VIP here!
To add a button for visitors to register interest in a specific size, you could either customize your theme or use Shopify's built-in forms. Create a size dropdown next to the purchase form, where customers can select their preferred size. For ease, you could have an option to notify them via email when the size is restocked. Alternatively, you could add a simple form that captures just the size they want, without needing an email, and review the data manually.
Hi Holly!
We have a pre-order and restock app Early Bird which lets you capture interest for sold out products/variants. The customer can enter their email and choose the variant they're interested in, and you can use our app to email them all when you stock/restock that variant.
You could also just use the first part of this functionality to capture interest, without ever emailing them (just make it clear in your wording that it's an expression of interest). Our Free plan lets you capture unlimited email addresses - you'll only have to upgrade to a paid plan if you want to send emails using our app.
Let me know if you had any other questions, but I'd be happy to help you get this setup for your store. Just let me know!
Thanks! Will this work to capture interest in sizes I don't currently stock?
Hey Holly!
Absolutely, as long as you create those sizes as variants for your product (stock can be left at 0 so you don't sell any), then customers will be able to sign up for them using our app.
I also just noticed you're from NZ - we're just across the pond in Australia! Chat soon 🙂
