Hi guys,

This is my product URL looks now: https://ninescapeland.com/collections/indoor-climbing-wall/products/climbing-equipment-for-schools

NinescapeLand_0-1711934391307.png

I think they are too long and not suitable for Google inclusion, I want to make my product URL display: my store name/product/product name, such as ninescapeland.com/climbing-equipment-for-schools or ninescapeland.com/product/climbing-equipment-for-schools

Best regard,

NinescapeLand

Hello, @NinescapeLand

https://ninescapeland.com/products/climbing-equipment-for-schools

Now this URL is also available.

The link with collections above is only displayed like this when you enter it from the collection list, and there is no problem with it.

I want my product page URL directly displayed https://ninescapeland.com/products/climbing-equipment-for-schools

Can you have some good ideas?

Hi, @NinescapeLand

You can check the URL handle of the product in admin, or have you set up redirection

I don't want to redirection, I see that in other themes, just delete the collection in the product page code, but I didn't find the relevant path in the ride theme. Do you know more about this?

Hey @NinescapeLand

You can use this guide to remove the collection-aware URLs. Pay close attention to the risks of removing your collection-aware URLs.

https://www.ilanadavis.com/blogs/articles/remove-collection-from-shopify-urls

To be clear, Google doesn't care that your URL is long or that you don't like the way it looks. They can read the collection-aware URL and product-only URL just fine. There are other reasons for wanting to remove the collection-aware URL as outlined in the article, but make sure you follow the article fully so you don't end up with unnecessary 404 errors.
