Shopify themes, liquid, logos, and UX
Hey awesome people!
My question is about how a sale price is shown. Above the red line is how it is shown on the product page. While above the green line it is how it is shown on collection page.
I don't like how it is shown on product pages. Is there a way that I can show the sale price exactly the same as on the collection pages. (with the green stripe)
I find it weird that this isn't standard honestly.. Literally the whole world uses a price with a stripe through it to show the sales price vs old price.
I really hope someone has a simple solution for this! It is not the end of the world but it bothers me a bit..
Hello @MDKSocks!
I can totally understand why that would be frustrating. If you're using one of our free Shopify themes, our team might be able to look into this for you using your Design Time. Could you let me know what the name of your theme is?
If you're using anything other than one of those themes, then you might either have to look into this with the developers of your theme, or contact a Shopify Expert. They are people who work externally to Shopify and charge their rates based on the work that they do, you are able to go to them for any questions related to coding (which is what you might need to do here).
On a different note, I was just looking at your store and I wanted to say that you have done a really great job! Aside from how aesthetically pleasing it looks, I really love your slogan 'Go sock yourself!'.
Are you already looking to prepare for BFCM 2021? It is always good to get ahead as soon as you can because once the season comes around, things can get quite busy for you! I would recommend you check out last year's checklist from our Shopify Blog on Tips to Prepare for BFCM. It goes through all the things you should be checking in advance to help give you some structure in preparation for the season.
Let me know if you have any other questions and I will be happy to help.
Thanks! -Lana

Hey @Lana
Thank you for your kind answer! It is indeed a paid theme. I was just hoping it might be a CSS thing that some of the heroes could solve in here. It is not the end of the world, but I hope that at some point someone has the solution!
