Save „x“ amount instead of Sale Badge

Hello!

This is probably a frequently asked question, but I haven't found a suitable solution in the forum (German and English) nor in the internet or on YouTube

- We are using the Spotlight Theme 15.0.1.

- In the future, we would like to display discounted products with something like "Save x %/€" instead of "SALE."

Gabe kindly helped us before by hiding the SALE badge via CSS, because we weren‘t really satisfied with the looks of the sale badge.

We also tried using different CSS and liquid code as shown in this great tutorial (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4oUTsC3l5b4), but we couldn’t achieve the desired result.

Additionally, is there a way in the Shopify Translator tool to translate the „Save x“ text? Since "Spare xxx%/€" would be more pleasant for our German-speaking customer zone.

Hi @VSWildTom,

If you don't mind using an app from the Shopify App Store, you can try out the Product Labels and Badges app. You can easily create badges as you desire with the Standard package. Just follow these steps:

Step 1: Create a text badge campaign.

Step 2: In the badge content section, click on the three dots and select Add variables option => {discount_amount}. The badge will automatically display based on the discount value of each product.

Step 3: If you wish to add the German language or change the content to "Spare xxx/" for your German-speaking customer zone, please click on the toggle for the "Set multiple languages" option right below the Badge content section.

Hi Amanda! 

Thank you kindly for the suggestion - we rather want to work with CSS or customization of the available code(sales badge) since app embeddments often slow down the page speed and also multi langual is not in the free version available.
